Sue Thomas, has been profoundly deaf since infancy, has MS, and most recently has overcome cancer and being on a ventilator with Covid. Sue’s passion is to encourage people in all walks of life by sharing from her own life’s experiences. As a master story-teller, she has been on the speaker’s circuit for over 35 years, has authored two books, and inspired a TV series, Sue Thomas FBEye.
Donna Lee is a musical worship leader at her home church in Newbury, Vermont. She serves alongside her husband, Pastor David Lee, at the Newbury Bible Church. She has led worship at various women’s conferences, retreats and church services for 27 years. Donna is also employed with the University of New Hampshire as a 4-H Program Manager and holds a Master’s Degree in Christian Education. She and her husband have three adult children, are Oma and Papa to six grand children, and have been married for 40 years. Donna met Sue Thomas at a Women’s Conference several years ago where they were both ministering and have been friends ever since. She and her church continue to support Sue’s vision for Waterbrooks and her ministry.
Sarah Alimowski is passionate about encouraging and offering hope, by sharing personal life experiences. She knows the joy of freedom through forgiveness, and that having a merry heart is vital for successful living. She knows the power of music and heard her parents singing before she was born. With her family she has sung on the streets of New York City’s Times Square to Russia’s Red Square in Moscow. It was on one of their many mission trips to Eastern Europe that she met her husband, Marek, from Poland. They have two sons, and live in North Port, FL, and part time in Narew, Poland. Her interests include meeting new people, traveling to new places, and living life with an open door. Her desire is that women will be drawn to Christ through her singing, speaking, and living for the glory of God.
Teri Thomas has played the violin for over 40 years. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Music Performance from Youngstown State University, as well her Master’s Degree in Mathematics. Teri has performed with Youngstown Symphony Orchestra, Warren Chamber Orchestra, Ashtabula Symphony, and The Akron Symphony, as well as with her private quartet at many weddings, dinners and events. Teri also had a studio of 38 private violin and viola students and gave lessons for about 25 years.
Teri currently lives in Poland, OH with her husband of 28 years and their four children aged 26 – 17. She is a professor of Mathematics at Stark State College in Canton, OH.

8:30-9:30 AM… (In the Foyer) pick up your welcome packet, name tag, and then enjoy a light continental breakfast
2 morning sessions followed by a Spring Luncheon
After the Spring Luncheon there will be a sing-along with Donna Lee at the piano followed by the final session by Sue Thomas. Retreat closes at 2:30 PM
WILL THERE BE INTERPRETERS FOR THE DEAF?
Front row seats will be reserved for deaf and hard of hearing and ASL Interpreters will be signing all sessions.
