The Crowning Touch

in

It was a full and busy weekend with volunteers making short work of big projects. Suddenly they were gone and the silence reigned once more at WaterBrooks.

Except one very crucial job was unfinished.

So Brandi pulled on her black and white polka dot rubber boots and filled the little boat with flowers, tools, wires, solar panels, and other apparatuses and rowed to the little island in the middle of the pond.

Now, resting at the foot of the Cross, there is a flowerpot filled with pink tidal wave petunias with an attached solar powered timed irrigation line feeding it from the pond water. Solar lights are strategically positioned to beam upward to illuminate both sides of the Cross.

It is the crowning touch. The opening work is complete.

If you want to drop by for a visit, whether to see the Cross, learn more about the building plans, visit Sue Thomas’ Resurrection Spot, or simply to sit in the Silence, please let me know.

WaterBrooks is waiting!
